The TM Forum Device Management Summit focussing on “Low-Cost Device Deployment and User Support” is pleased to announce their speaker line-up for the event that will take place on June 24th, 2008, prior to CONNECTIONS™. The event has been produced to address the growing management requirements generated by intelligent interconnected devices in the home, including mobile handsets, set-top boxes and gateways.
Chris Ballard, who leads the TM Forum’s Device Management interest group will be joined by Abraham Joseph of the Device Management Forum to outline business drivers for device management and the scope and direction of the TM Forum’s own interest group. The speaker panel line up also includes Paul Coxhead from Coxhead Consulting who has spent a long career working for BT, Dr Plamen Nedeltchev from Cisco’s internal IT organization, John Fisher, from Peak8Solutions, Robin Mersh, COO from the DSL Forum and Frank den Hartog, Chair of the Remote Device Management Group from the Home Gateway Initiative and Stan Moyer, President of the OSGi Alliance.
