Do you want to know more about Trinity Ventures?

Trinity Ventures responds to interview questions...

What is your company's/division's newest initiative?
Trinity has always had an interest in consumer-facing technology but, in recent years, our investment themes have focused on digital media, Internet services, mobility, SaaS and clean tech. These are all technologies with a great impact on society and fit nicely into our spectrum of investments.

What is your company's biggest challenge?
It's never really a challenge to find companies looking for capital.the challenge is in finding companies that have the potential to grow into significant companies. It's certainly much more difficult to find the next Google or Facebook - companies that will generate venture-scale returns for our investors.

What are your company's long term goals?
Trinity wants to become the "go-to" venture capital partner for every entrepreneur with whom we engage. We aim to provide a level of service, support and guidance to our portfolio companies that will ensure they become repeat customers.

What is your company's most successful product/service?
Clearly our portfolio is our prize. Trinity has had the fortune of working with some stellar companies over the past 22 years. Our portfolio has included companies like PhotoBucket, Blue Nile, Starbucks, Speedera Networks, Extreme Networks, Aruba Networks, LoopNet, Sygate, Forte Software, Crescendo, Illustra.it goes on.

What do you perceive as your company's greatest strength?
Hands down, our greatest strength is in our team - but not just our internal team, or we'd be overlooking the fact that we are largely the power of the companies we fund and their success. Trinity has an astounding network of current and former CEOs that complements the very specific domain expertise among our individual partners and the overarching experience we have as a firm with more than two decades of venture capital experience building companies from ground zero.

A General Partner at Trinity Ventures, Patricia Nakache, will be speaking at on the Investing in Connectivity’s Future: VCs and New Opportunities at 3:15 PM on June 26th at CONNECTIONS(TM).
